Biography

While in High School, I had a strong desire to be a multi-subject elementary school teacher. I worked very hard towards that goal. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to quit college, find a fulltime job to financially support my family. Eventually, I returned to school and on the day I graduated from SFSU, I realized that I did not want to be a teacher anymore. Instead of making an impact on students in a classroom, I wanted to seek a career assisting students "one-student-at-a-time". Immediately, I sought out a employment at a community college in counseling services. That is were I found my "dream job". Since then, I've worked in various roles at different community colleges under the Student Services umbrella but only assisting students "one-student-at-a-time". This is truly my dream job!
